Uneaten food is one of the worst sources of the climate changing emissions we produce. Due to its short atmospheric life , methane is highly concentrated in its impact, up to 86 times more than CO2.

Reducing food waste is something we can all can do.

Food waste is not just food waste.
Food waste of course is not just food waste. Plastic is everywhere. And when it comes to food we often think it is unavoidable. However, everyday new alternatives are being created that can help us avoid plastics, and especially single use.
Over the next few months Great2Go will be working with restaurants, cafes and pubs to raise awareness around food waste and single use plastics in the hospitality sector
It's also single use plastic.

We are looking for restaurants, cafes and pubs to join us.
PHASE 1: We are looking to get feedback from our all our participants to look at how together we can implement some long term solutions.
PHASE 2: Using what we learn from Phase 1, we will work with all our participants to implement longer term solutions.
